Oprah "Mrs. Phloem" Winfrey

Hey! I’m Mello #2! But today you can call me Oprah Winfrey!
Billionaire media executive and philanthropist best known for hosting my own world renown talk show from 1986 to 2011 named “The Oprah Winfrey Show”
I was born in a town named Kosciusko, Mississippi on January 29th, 1954 and still living a strong healthy life!
In 1971 I attended Tennessee State University and after, began working in radio and television broadcasting in Nashville, Tennessee.

In 1976, I moved to Baltimore, Maryland where I hosted a tv show named “People Are Talking” for 8 years.
In 1986, I began “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that aired for 25 years on 120 different channels and 10 million watchers! My show made $125 Million by the end of the first year!
$30 Million is what I earned in 1986!
In 1999, I launched Oxygen Media which contained cable and internet content for women.
In 2000, I launched my own monthly magazine named “O”!
In 2005, “Business Week” named me the Greatest Black Philanthropist in American History and was not only the Richest African-American of the 20th Century, but also the only Black Billionaire for those 3 years.

I then raised $50 million for American charities as well as girls education in South Africa.
In 2011, I Started my own tv network creatively named “Own”! (Oprah Winfrey Network)! I gained popularity for this network by interviewing a bike cyclist named Lance Armstrong, who had been stripped of his Gold medals.
In 2018, I signed a deal to create content for Apple and in 2019 I announced bringing "Oprah's Book Club" to the Apple TV+ Streaming service.
In 2018, I became the first African-American woman to receive the Golden Globes’ Cecil B. DeMille Award, for Lifetime Achievement. At the ceremony I gave thanks to an idol of mine name Sidney Poitier!
Today I am Oprah Winfrey! And so are you!
